Skyler Track District Prelims

Skyler participated in the School District Track Prelims in the Youth High Jump Last Thursday.  The event took place at CSU, Bakersfield and he competed against other boys in the school district.  Skyler won his division at school with a height of 3 feet 8inches.  At the prelims, the judges started all the boys out at 4 feet.

Skyler had 3 tries to clear the high jump bar.  He had a disadvantage of being small to start with and the height of the bar was just too high for him.  Skyler kept getting his feet caught as he fell over the top.

This last try looked like he was going to make it but his feet got caught!  Skyler was eliminated in the first round.  He did his best and that is all we asked for!
