Vegas Anniversary Trip

We left the day before our anniversary and headed to Vegas.  We left late!  So many things were keeping us in town.  Mark and I just couldn't get relaxed.  After putting out some fires, we were on the road.  

Mark was able to get a suite with a view of the strip 

We rushed all morning and drove that afternoon to get to Vegas on time.  We had 8pm concert tickets at the Hard Rock.  

We got into Vegas just in time to check in, go to our room, change and head out the door again to grab a cab.  

Journey was fantastic!   Very entertaining!!!  Lots of great songs!

In the hallway, in the Hard Rock, they had Journey memorabilia.  

We found this sign just for Mark!  

But, then he settled on this little bottle of Jack.  

Our anniversary dinner was at Capo's Speakeasy and Steakhouse.  It's has a Godfather feel about it.  You walk back in time into Prohibition. 

Dinner was delicious! The company was amazing!  The entertainment was great!  Wonderful anniversary dinner!

On Friday, we had drinks and appetizers at New York, New York-Irish pub before we were off to another show-Zumanity!!!

Happy 17th Birthday!!!

We celebrated Skyler's 17th Birthday at BJ's Brewhouse.  It's hard to believe Skyler is 17!

Cherry Season

One of the many reasons I love living here in the Central Valley of California is the fresh fruit and vegetables.  

Today, Andrew's friend, Mikey, brought our family fresh picked cherries.  He said his crew picked them this morning. 

It can't get much fresher than that!!!
